75. March Moe Madness: Moe 101

Amelia has been wanting to do this episode basically since the inception of the podcast and the time has finally come. Lucky for you we turned it into a whole month of dedicated Moe discussions! 
To consume Moe one must first understand the origins of the word itself and the characters and series that make this style of animation what it has evolved into today. First, we break down the word and then we talk about the character that started it all. Then we get into themes and tropes of the style and talk a bit about our experiences with Moe anime. And then we break down what Moe means to us. Then we dive into the question: Is it Moe? Or is it just cute girls doing cute things? Moe as a style is so broad and is pretty subjective. What one person might think is really cute and another person you might find totally annoying. So is it actually Moe?
