This week on the Exodus Cry Podcast, Benjamin Nolot sits down with Andrea Heinz, a Canadian feminist who, at the age of 22 and with tens of thousands of dollars in debt, entered prostitution in Edmonton, Alberta. After seven years, she left prostitution in 2013. Andrea is now an accomplished writer, advocate, and filmmaker working to raise awareness about commercial sexual exploitation.
On this episode, Andrea bravely shares what led her to enter prostitution, how she got out, and how she’s finding healing from that life. She and Benjamin discuss the harms of “sex work” ideology and the harmful language our culture uses to talk about prostitution.
