Who would of thought the words Most Valuable Player and Eric Hosmer would be in the same sentence! No, seriously. We expected these big league numbers from Machado but all credit goes to Hosmer as well for carrying this Padres offense and was a big contribution in this series that got the other bats going. Let's continue that offensive slugfest in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
