"My 19-year-old daughter came over last night and asked for money to fix her car. If she doesn't get the car fixed she won't be able to go to work and might get fired. This would lead to her possibly losing the lease on her apartment. My husband says she became an adult the day she moved out. He says she got herself into this mess so she needs to get herself out. He refuses to give her any money. I feel bad for my daughter and want to help her. My husband would be mad if I did. What would you do if you were us? Would you help her or not?
