"I panicked yesterday at work because I saw that the bank account I share with my husband was missing several thousand dollars. I immediately called him at work in tears. He told me he withdrew $4,000 so he could bet on March Madness games. My mood switched from panic to anger. He lost almost all of our money. I couldn't believe he did that.  He tried to reason with me last night and said that betting on March Madness games is the same as me investing in the stock market. The market goes up and down. Some days you win. Some days you lose. He said it's the same with March Madness and that I shouldn't be upset with him. My mother thinks I should leave him. Is my husband's reasoning correct?
