The Near-Death Experience of Shawn White, Part Two

Shawn White grew up in eastern Montana. When he was 14 years old, he was badly beaten. At the time, he thought he deserved these beatings, and he just wanted to die. He tried auto-genic suicide, trying to make his heart stop beating, and trying to stop breathing. He had recollections of being in heaven and wanted to return to that peaceful place.Instead, Shawn was permitted to slip away and leave his body for several hours, where he encountered loved ones, the Savior, and many others. This gave him a fresh perspective on his life, and the good he could perform on earth if he chose to return.This is the first in a two-part series about Shawn White's uplifting experience. There are many parallels between his experience, the scriptures, and the experiences of others who have tarried for a time on the other side of the veil and returned to share their testimonies of what we call the afterlife.This is Part Two of his story.
