Mark Oliver Everett, or “E” as he’s known fronting his band Eels, joins Kyle Meredith to talk about the band’s latest album, Eel’s Time! The indie-alt legend tells us about recently recovering from open heart surgery after having to get a new aorta put in, but he assures us that any songs about mortality on the LP predate the procedure.
