Today’s conversation is with David Pinsof.

David is the Co-Creator of Cards Against Humanity, Researcher at UCLA Mind Labs and popular blogger on human motivation.
 
We are often guilty of telling ourselves a story that explains why we want particular things, particular achievements, and particular experiences. The why and stories behind these are often very flattering, and make us sound noble, but ultimately are really bullshit. We do not truly understand our motivations, and this is part of the human experience.
 
Expect to learn why everything is bullshit, the difference between bullshitting and lying, why it’s hard to admit you want status, why it’s so important to outperform the previous generation,  and why suffering is a vital part of life.
