Today’s conversation is with Jonathan Pain.
Jonathan is a Hybrid Athlete, Coach, Self Protection Instructor and the Co-Founder of Omnia Performance.
The coaching, extreme endurance events and getting the best out of hundreds of athletes is just part of Jonny’s story.
In this episode, expect to learn about Jonny’s many different lives he has led from moving to Glasgow to pursue his love of music, to working in forensic mental health, before his coaching career and role as a father and family man.
Alongside this I ask about his experiences and lessons from fighting competitively in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA as well exposure to the under world. This also leads to learning about how Jonny navigated a huge change in his career and some of the physical feats he has taken on to test his body and mind.
One of the big themes of this episode is self awareness as life evolves, and the different considerations necessary to make the right choices and changes to how you choose to live your life especially when the weight of the decision brings a sense of fear.
