82 - Tom Cruise Is Back (and so are we!)

After a month long hiatus, we are back! Life got in our way, but we are very excited to jump right back into things.
After a quick side trip into a month-worth of WAWWs where Eitan shares an inexplicable newfound love for watching cartoon musicals during flights, we dive into the man, nay the legend, of the hour: Tom Cruise. While this episode was recorded before we watched Top Gun: Maverick, we use its hype to talk about how it's differentiated from other nostalgia sequels (nosquels?), and the impact Cruise tends to have in the creative details of his projects. Lastly, we check in on the current iteration of "peak TV" by discussing the upcoming tent pole releases from the big 4 streamers.
