QOF Episode 171 - In Loving Memory of Carole Lyles Shaw

This week (August 2024) we lost a beautiful, creative voice in our industry - Carole Lyles Shaw. She was a bright light in the quilting world and a very much loved member of our community. Carole was a very talented quilter and teacher but also one of those really positive good friends to so many of us. As I processed the news of her passing the day before her podcast episode was supposed to air last week I just took a pause. It was hard to accept after having interviewed her with so much joy just a few weeks ago, but I’ve realized that she put in a lot of work to prepare for her episode and it would be good to honour her memory and share her voice and her story with you.
