In 1845, Doc Adams joined the Knickerbocker baseball club, a move that would change his life, and a sport known to few, forever. Remarkably, for his contributions to the game, and his recognition over the past century as one of the earliest pioneers of baseball, Doc Adams does not have a plaque in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
