143) If You’re Sick, I’m a Dick
Apparently I only have enough empathy to take care of my sick wife for three days. She got COVID for the second time, and I'm taking care of her, which I don't mind since she's my wife. However, it seems I only have three days' worth of all the things you need to do and feel for someone who is sick. Once that fourth day hits, my empathy vanishes! WTF is this? Is this an autistic thing, or does this just confirm the awesome choice I made to never have kids? (Cuz 18+ years of that is a no-go)
