Converting was hard because of cultural differences.

She also met a couple from Yemen who encouraged her to revert. They said that "God has you in his radar." But she She didn't think that God knew about her.
After returning home she did more research on Islam.
She became friends with a Muslim on Instagram.
Islamic theology made sense to her.
Islamic prayers brought her peace.
She felt that she was healing her relationship with God.
She converted over the internet with her teacher's mentor.
She deals with some prejudice in her small town.
People have tried to pull off her hijab.
She got a lot of marriage proposals.
She also got a lot of misinformation.
She felt a great sense of relief after her conversion.
She is from a small town in Mexico called Monterrey.
