Chargers OTAs Day 1: Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey Clicking Early | Asante Samuel Jr. Has Big Day

The Chargers opened up OTAs and Justin Herbert was finding his new receiver Ladd McConkey early and often. It is only one practice, but their connection will be crucial for the Los Angeles offense as the rookie makes his case to be Herbert's new go-to guy. Dan and David breakdown the first day of practice with with all of the star players showing up and Asante Samuel Jr. having a big day. Samuel Jr. had an interception and multiple pass breakups on Monday, which is a great sign for Jesse Minter's new defense. Some bad news did come out from day one with rookie LB Junior Colson having to leave practice, but if it's minor there's no concern about him learning the defense.
