(00:00-22:56) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jimmy Cook and producer Eddie Garrison sharing some of their storylines to monitor during the Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics. They dive into the potential defensive assignments for both teams and believe that Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam could had advantages depending on how Boston wants to defend them.
(22:56-43:50) – Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Al Unser Jr. joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook in studio again to preview this weekend’s 108th running of the Indianapolis 500. Little Al shares what this week entails for a driver with all the down time, the mindset of a driver when the weather come race day is questionable, tries to forecast what this race could look like, explains what one of the most underrated parts about the race is, and does agree with Jake that the race is the easiest part about the month of May.
(43:50-44:37) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy quickly previewing the start of hour two.
(44:37-1:07:08) – During the NCAA Tournament, Jake and Jimmy gave away numbers to teams competing in the tournament to callers for their chance for a prize. They do it again to start the second hour surrounding the thirty-three drivers in the Indianapolis 500. If a caller selects the driver that is the winner, biggest mover, and first driver out of the race, then the caller will receive a gift card to Puccini’s!
(1:07:08-1:19:06) – After giving away some driver numbers for the Indianapolis 500, Jake and Jimmy open the phone lines for a therapy session for Pacers fans. They ask for some of their positive takeaways and why they feel like the Pacers still have a chance in the series despite the choke job.
(1:19:06-1:25:08) – The second hour of the program concludes with Jake and Jimmy taking two more calls from Pacer fans to share their thoughts on the game one loss last night.
(1:25:08-1:53:04) – Former Indiana Pacer Austin Croshere makes his third straight appearance on Query & Company to provide his perspective on the final minute of regulation, states that he is unbelievably impressed with the character of this team because of connected they all are as a team, believes that players around the league should be wanting to team up with Tyrese Haliburton with how selfless he is and how fun their brand of basketball is, and breaks down why the Celtics are a different team with Kristaps Porzingis playing.
