This week's listener question:
"I am on the cusp of starting as a preschool teacher. I have over 8 years of teaching under my belt and the youngest so far has been this past year as a 1-3 grade art teacher. Recently, the preschool teacher offer fell into my lap and I’m taking it and not without a bucket of nerves. Having my own toddler I know how amazing and tricky this age group can be. I am wondering what wise nuggets you can offer someone starting out as a teacher with this age group? Are there specific ways to bolster patience? My daughter will be in my class with me as well and I’m wondering if you could offer advice on setting healthy boundaries in the classroom and navigating mom vs. teacher?"
