We compare a classic science fiction film made when we knew little about the planet Mars versus The Martian, a modern science fiction film made with a much more realistic and knowledgeable understanding of the red giant.  Both films have their own level of charm and allow for a bit of "willing suspension of disbelief."  However, we tackle these films with an open mind and have fun comparing the realistic and "just for fun" content in these films.  We hope you enjoy the banter and fun we have discussing the differences between these two sci-fi giants!
