Stephanie Helms probably could hoist mainsail before she could walk. The 68-year-old competitive sailor has been competing on the seas for most of her life and now is a key member of U.S. Sailing's diversity, equity and inclusion effort in a time were sporting governing bodies worldwides are deciding such issues intensely.
True to form, she has much to say about climate in her sport, and a lot of other sports, and is a voice that needs to be heard.
