Welcome back to Episode 259 of On the Spot Sports and in today's episode we have a very special guest, current college hockey player, Eric Schmidley!  Schmids and I talk about his path to college hockey through youth hockey, junior hockey and ACHA Division II college hockey.  We also talk about the adversity he has faced with groin tears, broken ankles and a heart condition while all still getting back to playing the game he loves, as well as what it is like being a leader as a Captain for St. Cloud State University, the importance of mental health and its strive to be more well known, his first pro free agent camp over the summer and so much more.  We hope you guys enjoy this episode!!
