Welcome back to Episode 244 of On the Spot Sports and in today's episode we have a very special guest, current professional hockey player, Brandon Hawkins!  Brandon and I talk about his path to pro hockey and playing in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers, Fort Wayne Komets and the Toledo Walleye as well as the AHL's Rochester Americans, Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins and Cleveland Monsters.  We also talk about growing up in Michigan and playing youth hockey, the adversity of rehabbing an injury, what makes Toledo such a special place, going on a long run with the Walleye last season, winning the Kelly Cup with the Fort Wayne Komets, lessons learned from the AHL and NHL Dev Camp, playing college hockey at BGSU and Northeastern, what he learned in Juniors and so much more.  We hope you guys enjoy this episode!!
