C1E5: The End is the Beginning

The party enters the ice caves and searches for the recruiter, last seen as a calico tabaxi named Sunset. In the cave, they find more than they were bargaining for, encountering a wolf and her pups, corrupted sabertoothed tigers, and Kaerrar, a high-level fire genasi adventurer that serves the Raven Queen. They nearly avoid the fire genasi and instead are able to track down the missing recruiter, who heals a corrupted miner using but hurts themself in the process. This recruiter, a middle-aged tiefling named End, has an unexpected connection to Firenze, having found and taken care of his daughter Byron for a period of time. End offers to assist the party with joining the guild, and they all leave the caves for some much-needed rest.
