65. Tobias Tubbs of Create Good Ventures

Release Date:

In 1991, Tobias Tubbs was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to death (Life Without the Possibility of Parole) as a youth offender. He then spent three decades within some of the most dangerous and inhumane prisons that California has to offer, where he not only survived these years, but thrived through his adoption of Loving-Kindness Mindful Practice. Due to Tobias's incredible healing work with thousands of prisoners and staff during a 28-year period, as well as his profound advocacy to terminate sentences like his own, he was commuted his sentence and released to his community, where he continues to engage in his incredible healing work and advocacy for the incarcerated and their communities. Tubbs currently serves as Co-Founder/Owner of Create Good Ventures, where he advises, creates, and invests in good social enterprises.
