10 - The Sky is Falling

THE SKY IS FALLING EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Smith encounters a strange metallic object crawling toward him. It is evidently constructed for collecting data & soil samples. Everyone is interested as it must obviously have been sent by some ‘intelligent’ form of life. The next day Will comes across a humanoid boy, the same age as himself. They rapidly make friends & find they have much in common. The space boy & his parents are ‘Taurons’, who are scouting out the planet to see if it is suitable for colonization. The second time Will sees the boy, he sneezes & the ‘Tauron’ boy, instantly contaminated by Earth germs, falls seriously ill.  Will helps him to a nearby cave & stays with him. Both families are highly concerned by the disappearance of their sons & Smith, through his usual blunderings & deceit, sows the seeds of mistrust on both sides.
