Loving Holidays

Holiday celebrations can be tricky for moms who want everyone to get along, and that's in normal times.   Add in some more stress with COVID recommendations for limiting gatherings and random plumbing repairs, and now we have choices for how to respond. Thinking about our family's identity - the characteristics that make our family "us," is a good start, including the good, bad and ugly. After that, letting family members do their thing, letting them be them, and choosing to enjoy everyone exactly as they are is the shift that makes loving the holidays and loving our loved ones so much easier.
