Release Date:

On today's episode, we're heading back to 90s era Los Angeles, where we're going to hear a story about a lovely lady and a man named Brady, while we revisit the absolutely iconic camp classic, The Brady Bunch Movie (1995). This movie was directed by Betty Thomas and written by Laurice Elehwany, Rick Copp, Ronnie Turner, and Terry Turner. This movie stars Shelley Long (Troop Beverly Hills, Cheers), Gary Cole (The West Wing, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law), Michael McKean (Clue, This is Spinal Tap), and whole host of other folks like Christine Taylor (The Craft, Night Of The Demons II), Jennifer Elise Cox (Six Feet Under, The Comeback), and Rupaul (But I'm A Cheerleader, To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar)This movie is the epitome of perfection when it comes to TV to film adaptations, and it's such a great example of how to do parody right. This movie is so funny, but never malicious in its intent, and I think that really sets it apart from other movies of its ilk. Do yourself a favor and watch this immediately.Intro/Outro Music: "Phantom Fun" by Jonathan BoyleShow E-Mail: cultcinemacircle@gmail.comFollow Cult Cinema Circle on Instagram, Twitter, and Letterboxd Hosted on Acast.
