How I Stepped Away From My Business For A Week

This year, I’ve been able to step FULLY away from my business for a couple of weeks and it has been amazing. It’s been a long time coming. It wasn’t easy by any means. But after I finally took the leap and took the time away, I realized how important it truly is. Listen in to hear how I did it.    To give you a bit of perspective, I was the person who was constantly checking Voxer and constantly in my email box. I was convinced that if I didn’t respond right away, my clients would decide that they weren’t investing properly. This is in spite of the fact that my onboarding was very clear about my hours and how I communicate.    It took until I was completely away from all service and internet for several days for me to realize how entrenched I really was. I had the systems in place to allow me to take time away, but I wasn’t doing it. [10:04] Tip 1 for stepping away from your business is to set some strong boundaries. [10:12] Tip 2 is to have a strong team around you. [11:46] If you are running a six-figure business, you need to outsource. [13:43] There are so many benefits to having someone know your business in and out. [17:31] Ask yourself what you can outsource in your business and life right now. [18:30] You must have systems in your business to outsource and feel confident with the people you hire. [21:38] I was able to step away because I have pieces and systems in place and people I trust to run things the way I would.
