#33 Funeral Industry in Japan To Face New Challenge After COVID19

Release Date:

March 11 is the day the enormous earthquake hit east Japan 10 years ago. I’d like to express many thanks who offered support from all over the world to my home country, Japan. The total deaths of 15,899 and over 2,500 people are still missing. The Tohoku area is recovering day by day but will need more time for full recovery. Today’s topic is something related to death. When someone passes away, the style of funeral varies by country, religion, or family. Majority of Japanese follow the ritual of Buddhism when it comes to funerals. Most of the time, the bodies are cremated and the ashes are kept in the urn. Then families bury urns inside the graves. But COVID19 brought a new change to this. Let’s see if we can unbox Japan.
