Having A Ball: Lucy and Desi Documentary Review

Release Date:

We finally review and share our opinions and thoughts on the much anticipated and beautifully directed documentary on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, 'Lucy and Desi' from Amy Poehler currently streaming on Amazon Prime. The film certainly feels like a modern version of the "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie" from the early 90's produced by Lucie Arnaz.

We discuss what we loved about the film and some of the bits of information and hardly or never-before seen videos of Lucy and Desi at the start of 'I Love Lucy'.

We have some fun discussing the friendships Lucille created with such great icons as Carol Burnett and Bette Midler and how Desi shaped the world of television and entertainment for the Latin community.
