60 - Katja Snoeijs

Katja Snoeijs grew up in the Netherlands and like many other professional women's footballers she started off by playing with boys. That was also something that could have gotten her to quit playing for good. Today she is a forward at Everton FC in the Women's Super League and in the Dutch national team. She has represented three clubs back home in the Netherlands in the Eredivisie Vrouwen; SC Telstar, VV Alkmaar and PSV. After becoming the top scorer in the league more than one time she moved abroad to play for Bordeaux in France before signing with the Toffees in the summer of 2022. In this episode we talk to Katja Snoeijs about why she signed for Everton and what she thinks a forward needs to be really good at on the pitch in the WSL to perform at the very highest level.
