Recent months have seen farmers in Europe take to the streets to protest against EU regulations and paperwork. Even in Belgium, where the EU headquarters are located, anger remains palpable. Jeanne, 24, works as a dairy farmer and does not plan on voting in this week's European elections, since she "thinks of the European Union with disgust".
