Redefining Leadership for the Rising Generation

Jeff Spahn, Founder and President of Leading Leaders Inc joins the show to discuss his new book, We the Leader. In today’s marketplace, younger leaders see themselves differently. While older generations view leadership as an earned concept, emerging leaders perceive the term more inherently. As such, the friction between turnover and hierarchy is increasing at an accelerated rate. However, as Jeff explains in his book, the truce in the middle boils down to curious conviction – the idea of leading and following can occur simultaneously. Applied to best teamwork practices, quality leaders, regardless of age, can build curiosity around uniqueness and diversity to improve flow and decision-making.
