A conversation with generative artist Tyler Hobbs. Hobbs has combined his computer programming and art backgrounds to become one of the biggest names at the nexus of digital and physical art. On the heels of his amazingly popular Fidenza series of generative artworks, he has released the ambitious QQL series which redefines the role of the art collector as that of collaborator. Pace Gallery is currently featuring a series of physical works that Hobbs created by hand based on his own use of the QQL algorithm.
