Gustavo Dantas is a 6th degree BJJ Black Belt under Andrew Pederneiras. Gustavo has studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for more than 30 years, with 26 years at the Black Belt level.

Gustavo is the founder of GD Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, the founder of the Arizona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu League and the co-founder of Jiu-Jitsu Tribe, a non-profit that helps at-risk youth and adults in impoverished communities through Jiu-Jitsu.

Gustavo is also a podcaster, a mental coach, an MMA veteran with a record of 2-0, an ADCC veteran, multiple-time National Champion, multiple-time World Champion, and multiple-time Masters World Champion.
