The show hit the stage for the first time in 1981. In addition to performances, new productions were provided with an opportunity to reach potential partners and investors from around the world during the festival's Performing Arts Fair. The People's Bank of China's decision to hold the benchmark interest rates - the LPR - steady was in line with market expecations.
