節分(せつぶん):
Setsubun is the event held to pray for our happy and healthy life.It is held on Feb 3th or 4th.On that day, we throw away beans with saying "Devils out! Happiness in!"This is called "Mame-maki" (Mame means beans, maki means throwing away.)

伝統的(でんとうてき)な:traditional
お祝(いわ)いする:celebrate
昔話(むかしばなし):folk tale
貧乏(びんぼう)な:poor
お墓参(はかまい)り:visit the family grave
押(お)し入(い)れ:closet

叫(さけ)ぶ:shout
