The Scriptures Are Real

Kerry Muhlestein

The Scriptures Are Real (TSAR) with Kerry Muhlestein is a podcast where we look at elements of the scriptures that have become real to us. We interview both experts (people with language, archaeological, historical backgrounds, etc.), and lay folks, and explore times when the scriptures became real to them. This is done from the viewpoint of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We believe that there is real power in the scriptures and that as they become more real we can better apply them to our lives and draw more power from them. If you listen to this podcast you will learn all kinds of interesting background information that will help you understand and learn more from the scriptures. We believe it will allow you to add real power to your life. My gratitude to my co-host Lamar Newmeyer. Also to my friend Rich Nicholls, who composed the introductory music.

Oregon Reporter Podcast

Oregon Reporter Podcast

The Oregon Reporter Podcast is your monthly review of the most important and interesting law updates in Oregon, including recent appellate decisions and legislation, and how those things might effect practicing attorneys across the state. Each episode of the Oregon Reporter Podcast will qualify you for one OSB accredited MCLE credit in the state of Oregon, that can be reported on your MCLE transcript. In addition to providing “general” CLE credits, we aim to provide credits in Ethics, Abuse Reporting, and Mental Health on a rotating three-year schedule. The goal for the Oregon Reporter Podcast is to provide Oregon attorneys a new method for obtaining the most contemporaneous and timely updates on Oregon law, in a modern, convenient, and (perhaps even) fun package. Theoretically, an attorney who listens to every episode of the Oregon Reporter Podcast, will finish their reporting cycle with 36 MCLE credits, all having been completed inside of their car or through their AirPods, using software that they already have on their phones or computers, and without any flicking though cumbersome catalogs, and without any one-off MP3 or video player downloads. For reporting convenience, all episodes will automatically appear in your normal podcast feed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, etc., and all MCLE Event Id. numbers, materials, and additional information will be accessible and preserved in that feed well beyond the applicable reporting timelines.

And now, I am dedicated to supporting teachers like you to do the same.  I created The Unteachables Podcast to give you the simple and actionable classroom management strategies and support that you need to run your room with confidence, compassion, and calm.On the Podcast you will hear from incredible guests such as:-Bobby Morgan of the Liberation Lab-Marie Gentles, the behaviour expert behind the BBC documentaries 'Don't Exclude Me' and 'Helping Our Teens', and author of the book Gentles Guidance: How to Understand, Inspire and Empower your kids.-Robyn Gobbel, author of Raising Kids with Big Baffling Behaviours-Dr Lori Desautels, assistant professor and published author-Ceri Sandford of Wine with Teacher Podcast / Embrace your ADHD Chaos -Danica of Little Bloom Think of them as your behaviour besties (and there are many more to come!). So whether you’re in early years, primary or secondary. A beginning teacher, an early career teacher, a teacher in training, a teaching assistant, an experienced teacher, a leader in teaching, and you’re wanting to feel happy and empowered and enjoy being in the classroom, whilst also making an impact with every single one of your students, then you’re definitely in the right place. The Build Math Minds Podcast

Christina Tondevold

The Build Math Minds podcast is for my fellow Recovering Traditionalists out there. If you don’t know whether or not you are a Recovering Traditionalist, here’s how I define us. We are math educators who used to teach math the traditional way. Flip lesson by lesson in the textbook, directly teaching step-by-step how to solve math problems. But now, we are working to change that to a style of teaching math that is fun and meets our students where they are at, not just teaching what comes next in the textbook. We want to encourage our students to be thinkers, problem solvers, and lovers of mathematics..we are wanting to build our students math minds and not just create calculators. If that is you, then this podcast is for you.
