Have you felt it? Something is rippling through humanity at this moment. It's a stirring... a longing... a remembering. A sense that we are more capable than we’ve been led to believe. But while our overdose on modernity may have made us sick, there is an antidote. Join best-selling author and mentor, Jill Winger, each week as she digs into a different facet of the old-fashioned on purpose lifestyle.

Simple Doesn't Mean Easy

Michelle Visser

Are you longing to simplify things just a little, amidst the crazy, loud, distracting clutter of life? That's where I was just 5 years ago, when my family started on this crazy ride toward simplifying things. Since "simple" is almost never synonymous with "easy," I was pretty much a failure at everything I tried. But along the way I learned that it's not only okay, but actually GOOD that simple joys require hard work. So I'm here to be your Encouragement Mentor in this sometimes difficult effort to simplify. Because we can do this, guys. Together.

Learn and Memorize Tarot Cards

QuickLearn Quests

Tarot cards has been a journey of over 20 years for me. I took a two and a half day course to learn how to read tarot and I was hooked. At the time, I wanted to learn how to read tarot because I loved having my cards read and I wanted to demystify it, and also learn how to do it for myself and others. Since this was a new skill, I relied heavily on learning the cards and the positions in the spread. It took many years to be able to put the stories together, and even longer to get out of my head and trust my intuition (which I still struggle with). Tarot has been an exciting journey in my personal life. In my professional life, I am an instructional designer, course writer and digital content creator. Needless to say, it was a matter of time before I took on the personal project of sharing how I learned to read tarot cards, which truly was building on the basics - which is the symbolism of the cards. Taking my experience in adult learning and course writing coupled with my passion for reading cards, I created these three minute podcasts to help card readers learn as I did.  Ok... they aren't EXACTLY 3 minutes.  I'm not THAT good!  But I am around that 2.5 to 3.5 minute mark, to keep the learning targeted and concise.  Please know there is so much more to know, but this should give a beginner some basics. For people that already have a familiarity with the cards, taking in the podcast may be a great way to focus on the lessons. For those that would do better with accompanying visuals, I would recommend searching for the card for viewing on your computer or phone for quick access.  I have used the Rider Waite deck to build this course, as it is the deck that I learned on, and it is still my favorite tarot card deck. Even though I love the woo woo nature of cards, astrology and numerology, it can be confusing when discussing the technical aspects of the cards, and flip flopping with the fluff. This audio course sticks to point so that a person learning can stay in their left brain. I love the fluff, but we only have three minutes to get the basics across.  Happy learning!

School for School Counselors Podcast

School for School Counselors

School counseling is one of the most rewarding professions on the planet, but also one of the most intense and misunderstood. Most school counseling resources continue to focus on ultra-filtered, perfect-world examples of school counseling instead of the raw, real-world realities of the profession we love: that’s why we created this podcast. The School for School Counselors podcast is for school counselors working their hearts out while fearing they’ll never meet the expectation of a “perfect” comprehensive program. It’s for school counselors who are feeling frustrated, discouraged, or misunderstood. And it’s for those of us who just simply LOVE working in and thinking about school counseling because we want to learn, grow and inspire positive change in students. If you’ve been looking for a circle of school counselor colleagues who just GET IT, and if you’re not afraid to be REAL about things like comprehensive school counseling programs, data-driven school counseling, and the joys and real challenges of the modern school counselor’s role on campus, you’ve come to the right place.

Women Winning Divorce with Heather B. Quick, Esq.

Florida Women's Law Group, Heather B. Quick Esq.

Welcome to Women Winning Divorce. I am your host, Heather Quick. I am an Attorney, Entrepreneur, Author and Founder of Florida Women’s Law Group, the only divorce firm for women, by women. I love thinking big, thinking outside the box, creating creative solutions for women and empowering women to win in all aspects of their life. Our approach at Florida Women’s Law Group is to provide women with a strategy to not only achieve their objectives but win at life. I believe that what may show up as adversity is simply an opportunity to change and improve your life. In each episode of this podcast, I sit down with innovative professionals and leaders who are focused on how you can be your best self, before, during or after divorce. In these conversations, we are looking at how women can win at life. I have the unique opportunity to meet women when they are at a transition period of life, but that is only the beginning to becoming your best self and winning at life, on your terms. With our guests, we enjoy the opportunity to explore ways all women can win and enhance their life, no matter where they are in their journey, because divorce is just point in life, not the end and not what defines you, rather it can be a catalyst for growth. And I would love to hear from you personally, come join the conversation on social, and join our Facebook group, Women Winning Divorce and send comments and suggestions, we want to bring you content that helps move your life forward. Women Winning Divorce is the place for an elevated conversation on how women can thrive during times of adversity in order to live their best life. Visit us at https://www.womenwinningdivorce.com/ for more resources. This program was created to provide tips and insight to women with family law issues. It is not intended to be legal advice because every situation is different.

Get Goat Wise | Homestead Livestock, Raising Goats, Chickens, Off-grid living

Millie Bradshaw - Animal Scientist, Rancher, Homesteader

Are you concerned about the quality, safety, and security of the food supply? Do you worry that chemicals and additives are affecting you and your family’s health? Are you longing to raise more of your own food but don’t know where to start? Do you wish there was a simple way to get started raising your own animals for food? Hi, I’m Millie. Animal Scientist, cattle girl turned goat rancher, co-owner of Dry Creek Livestock, and simple living enthusiast. Fifteen years ago, my health took a turn for the worse and I was physically unable to be the mom and wife I wanted to be, so I put my researcher mind to work and discovered that chemicals in our food supply were causing my problems. I removed them from my diet, and gradually my health and mobility were restored. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to raise all of our own meat, eggs, and dairy. I’ve put three decades of experience and a Master’s Degree in Animal Science together to simplify the process of raising livestock for food and create simple systems that work, and I’m ready to share it with you! In this podcast, you will find simple instructions for sustainable, small-scale livestock husbandry, how to develop management systems that will keep you and your animals happy and healthy, and a plan to create food freedom by raising your own livestock for food. My mission is to teach you how to confidently raise livestock and give them the best life possible while fulfilling their ultimate purpose -- nourishing your family. Let’s ditch the overwhelm and bring home those goats and chickens! If you’re ready to take control of your food supply, raise livestock with confidence, and provide your family with the most nourishing meat, eggs, and dairy available, you’re in the right place! Kick off your muck boots, pour a cup of coffee, and let’s talk livestock! Email us: drycreekgoats@gmail.com See what’s happening on the ranch: www.instagram.com/dry.creek.livestock
