It is the first COP to be held in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The theme of COP28 is "Accelerating Climate Action for the Sustainable Future." The conference will focus on a number of key issues, including: Mitigation: Reducing greenhouse gas emissionsAdaptation: Helping countries and communities adapt to the impacts of climate changeFinance: Mobilizing climate finance to support developing countriesLoss and damage: Addressing the loss and damage caused by climate changeCollaboration: Promoting cooperation and collaboration among all stakeholdersCOP28 is an important opportunity for the world to come together and take urgent action to address climate change. The conference will provide a platform for countries to negotiate new commitments, share best practices, and mobilize resources to tackle this global challenge.
