Syd Barrett, founding member of world famous rock group Pink Floyd and its initial songwriter and leader, led a life full of unanswered questions. Was he a drug casualty of the sixties? Did he walk away from the pressures of the commercial music world? Did he suffer from an undiagnosed mental illness?

A film of Pink Floyd's album 'The Endless River', directed by Ian Emes, who created the original animated films for The Dark Side Of The Moon concert tour visuals (1972-1974). The album, mainly instrumental bar one song, is a tribute to the late band member Richard Wright and its genesis is the music from the 1993 Division Bell sessions.

Filmed during the European leg of Pink Floyd's Division Bell Tour in 1994, Pulse features the band live in concert at Earls Court, London. Restored and re-edited in 2019 from the original tape masters.

The late Syd Barrett was a major cult figure and rock music legend.
