Marvel Studios’ Eternals follows a group of ancient heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again. Eternals features an outstanding ensemble cast. Included are Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, an eternally young old soul, and Brian Tyree Henry as intelligent inventor Phastos. Also starring are Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the all-powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as wise spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Chloé Zhao directs the film, and Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serving as executive producers. The screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Chloé Zhao & Patrick Burleigh and Ryan Firpo & Kaz Firpo, from a screen story by Ryan Firpo & Kaz Firpo.


Nomadland

Along the way in this story of hope, she meets other nomads who become mentors in her life amidst the vast, sometimes breathtaking landscape of the American West. From Searchlight Pictures and acclaimed director Chloé Zhao, NOMADLAND features real-life nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells. With care and insight, Zhao crafted the screenplay, based on Jessica Bruder’s book “Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century.” McDormand brings Fern to life with a powerful, authentic performance. Also starring David Strathairn in a gripping turn as a man Fern befriends, NOMADLAND is a fascinating celebration of humanity, independence and adventure.

Johnny, a restless Lakota teen, and his spirited little sister Jashaun, live with their troubled mother on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. While the Johnny looks for ways to escape his nihilistic life on the reservation by moving to LA with his girlfriend, Jashaun is holding onto her faith in the community and the simple pleasures she finds there. Things start to change after the funeral of their estranged cowboy father and Johnny’s reckless behavior begins to catch up with him. After finding out about Johnny’s plan to leave, Jashaun wanders away from her ruptured home life, exploring the rodeo world of her late father and forming an unlikely friendship with an ex-con. Jashaun's spirit is put to the test as she witnesses the self-destructive nature of those around her. While Johnny, who finds himself in a fight he can't win, is in danger of losing all those he holds dear.
