This is the only movie ever produced on the life of Nikola Tesla who is the father of virtualy all of the technology we use today including AC electricity, radio, medical x-rays, remote control and robotics. Orson Welles is fantastic as Industrialist JP Morgan as is all of the stars who play key roles such as Westinghouse, Edison, etc. Well worth adding to your collection of favorite movies. Yes, this is rather "cheesy." But Tesla's story is often undervalued in the West because of his values, namely that he wasn't driven by shallow, reductive affectations of material wealth or celebrity. PBS also does a decent job of retelling his story and its historic significance to modern civilization with "Tesla: Master of Lightning." If you haven't seen either, you're missing a lot. If the man wasn't as well regarded and celebrated in life, let's at least do him the honor of revering him posthumously. He was an exceptional human being.

I havent yet seen this movie but if it is about all of the amazing things that this man has done then everyone needs to watch it and learn how a true genius works!

Kind of a cheesy late 70's movie but still provides great and fairly accurate insights into the life of Tesla. I'm not into retro movies but I love a good story and Tesla's is one of the best.
