Great actors, horrible writing, worse plot. Makes no sense. Salamander monsters were not a threat to anyone with a gun…which they didn’t have until the wife magically found one the Sherrif dropped and killed a singular monster. Only watch if you’re bored or want to waste time in your life.

The story is all over the place. If you are looking for a film to rip apart then this is it. The husband creates an explosion equalled to cherry bombs in a trash bin. The wife has a gun who only uses it with “strong dialogue” to fend off her family as she shoots the salamander at the end.
