FRANCIS LAWRENCE IS KING!

I was an emotional wreck, the movie was very close to the book, and the acting was wonderful. Mockingjay Part 2 was an unforgettable closing to a fantastic trilogy.

SUFFERS FROM DOUBLE DIPPING

I read today that Lionsgate blames a terrorist attack and Star Wars over performing for Mockingjay Part 2 being the worst performing movie in the series. Well let me break this down: The movie didn't bomb or anything it was a success, but the reason why it made less than all the other films is because it wasn't as good of a movie as the first two. Why? Because they unnecessarily split the third book into two movies so they could double dip for the cash. The result was TWO LONG BORING MOVIES when we could have had one fast pacing movie. Everyone went to see Mockingjay Part 1 and was disappointed that they did this to what could have been a phenomenal film. People didn't want to do it again. I love the Hunger Games trilogy and I listen to the audiobooks a few times a year. And I'm not being picky. This movie is good enough to buy cause I love the books, but it's no surprise they didn't get any Oscar nominations. That was in no way excellence in film.

The Breathtaking Final

The final chapter of The Hunger Games franchise comes to an epic conclusion with Mockingjay Part 2. This film successful ends the important story that portrays vital messages and themes to today's society. Every person who goes to watch this film will come out of the theatre knowing the true costs of war and how a corrupt government can cause so much destruction. This franchise will live on for generations; hopefully, teaching the important lesson that one voice can make a difference. It teaches us that if you are passionate enough and work hard for something then you will get results. This film/franchise may not be appreciated in its time, due to the Capitol-like minds of this generation. However, this film will become extremely relevant in the near future if we don't take action and start dealing with today's growing problems. Francis Lawrence brilliantly crafts one of this generations most powerful and influential films. Jennifer Lawrence is simply remarkable and impeccably portrays Katniss Everdeen for the final time. She perfectly completes the arch of this generations most fierce heroine. This film is the most powerful out of all the chapters in this franchise. Mockingjay Part 2 is a film that you truly can't afford to miss. - Will Scheid [93/100]

for fans only

If you split something that was whole, what do you get? Two pieces, half as good or something broken. This is mediocre entertainment, design solely with the studios profit in mind.

Worst Movie in the Series

We found the last installment in the Hunger Games series to be very disappointing. I know that splitting finales into two parts was all the rage when this movie came out but it just doesn't work here. The final movie seemed disjointed and out of sync with the rest of the series.
