This is a good movie but itunes is losing money with the other movie rentals. If you people need any advice buy urself a dvd to ipod converter for just 30 bucks you can take any movie and burn it into ur ipod!!

Pirate Hater should change the name to just plain "HATER"...This is a silly schtick genre flick and nothing more. This isn't a docudrama or an Oxygen Channel Special. Take it for what it is. The movie gets cheap laughs and in a world lacking a sense of humor, one should get them at any cost. My wife and I are fairly intelegent, socially aware and well educated. Neither one of us came away from this offended nor upset. Rent it and enjoy.

ITunes... please listen to us your customers! I will not be renting this movie from you...or any other movie for that matter! We want the option to buy any movie! You are teasing your customers by hanging out new movies only for rent! Please re-think this rent only option. This is a fantastic movie and I was disappointed this evening when I could not buy and download it from ITunes. You just lost another $9.99 worth of business from me! To date you have lost more then $50.00 in business...might want to check with your accounting office, as this will add up fast!

I've never seen the original so I can't agree nor disagree with those that say that this is a bad remake. When I first saw it I didn't even know it was a remake and I loved it. This movie has some crude humor but I found it funnier than other movies that have the same kind of jokes. It kept me entertained and I laughed a lot so buy it but it you're planning on seeing the original watch this first so you have nothing to compare it to, decide whether you liked it or not, and then watch the original. Because sometimes people base their opinions of remakes on the number of changes that have been made since the original. Don't deny, it's soooo true.
