The Boys In The Boat
This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs in 1936 as they compete in championship rowing against elite rivals from around the world.
Best rowing movie ever @Ducati 900 SS
No aliens, no explosions just the best movie ever about the sport of rowing. As a long time masters rower I salute George Clooney who has shown the beauty of the sport, absolute physical agony combined with the poetry of 9 humans acting as one. The movie mostly stuck with the book(except the photo finish), well done George.
Decent Story @required_pseudonym
I saw this in theaters and I thought I was going to get through an entire modern film without some injection of left leaning social justice woke nonsense and then…they had a completely unnecessary scene with Jesse Owens. It was just completely unnecessary. Added absolutely nothing to the film. It was as if they had to interrupt the story for a public service announcement. I was so disappointed that it ruined the rest of the film for me.
Great Stores @Shemshal
I like movies that are inspired by true stories, I loved this movie too and I cried in some moments of the movie.
