Polite Society
A merry mashup of sisterly affection, parental disappointment, and bold action, Polite Society follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan, who believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.

This movie is just directed by a white washed Pakistani director who thinks she’s representing our culture but instead is just designed to please the mass (white) audience. Horrible!!

Saw this in theaters and loved it. So sad it didn’t make much at the box office because I’ve never seen anything like it. It reminded me of a British mashup of Bollywood and Charlie’s Angels. The plot is wild, the action scenes are great and it’s hysterically funny and completely ridiculous. Check it out if you wanna see something different.
