One of my favorite movies of all time

I can’t put into words how this movie makes me feel other than utter happiness and euphoria but also a tragic undertone of melancholy. Very few movies have moved me in this way. I saw Inu-oh in theaters and I can describe it nothing more than magical. I had only seen the trailer the night before and fell in love with it at first sight, I had no idea where the story would go but I didn’t care. I cried and laughed and loved every moment of it from start to end credits. This was the very first Masaaki Yuasa film and I cannot wait to watch the rest of his films! Look I absolutely adore this movie but it should not be relegated to some niche film. I truly hope that this review moves even just one of you to watch this film it will all have been worth it

It’s gritty and gross

I love the way it looks, it doesn’t look polished or fancy, no complex eyes, it makes it stand out. I love modern animations as well but sometimes looking at something old is just as good if not a better aesthetic than anything else. Since this isn’t mal I’ll try not to write too much and act like I know what I’m talking about. I love the music of course, it’s the kind of thing you look to find after the movie. The story itself was pretty interesting, it didn’t lean too heavily into that because it’s more about remembering than something new, ironically given how the trailer talks about a new story.
