Insidious: The Red Door
In Insidious: The Red Door, the original cast from the horror franchise is back for the final chapter of the Lambert family's terrifying saga, with Patrick Wilson (also making his directorial debut), Ty Simpkins, Rose Byrne and Andrew Astor. To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh and a college-aged Dalton must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their family's dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door.

Had so many ways this could have been better. Wasn’t bad but that was the easiest devil to stop I’ve ever seen in a movie.

I saw this on a whim. Never seeing the first four. Maybe it would have helped. To me it was often nonsense. Extremely drawn out scenes, lacking any suspense. Little blood. I was kinda scared once by the bed sheet scare. Nothing else scared me. If you were brand new to horror. Maybe some of these scares would work. I saw all of them coming except the one. Very little dread or suspense at all to make up for the nonsense story and lack of scares. The acting of most was ok. I don’t expect much good acting from a modern horror. The black girl didn’t talk like any human I’ve ever met and yet she was the most likeable character. She was also at times dislikable. So... Yea. The last 15 minutes picked up but I still was confused. A lot of noise but not much sense. If you need to watch the first four to appreciate it. So be it. For anyone who hasn’t. It stinks.

I have all of the prior Insidious movies and thought they were great. This wasn't as scary as but the story was good and I think completed the story.

I scare easily so i thought this film delivered where it was supposed to! Patrick Wilson did a very good job directing for the first time!
