This movie was great! Beautiful invitation into the Indian culture, music, and dance. Wonderful display of cultural diversity with American and India blends. I hope to visit India someday. A MUST SEE!

This movie is incredibly fun & beautiful. The lead actor is super cute. The dancing is amazing. The dance/R&B music mixed with the traditional Indian music makes the theme of the movie more fun! I enjoyed it and was great to watch with my family. It’s the same maker as the Step Up movies, but this film gives you a lot more. It reminds you what dancing is all about: celebration, life, passion, love & joy.

This movie is one of my favorites! I can get pretty critical sometimes with movies that are dance themed, but this movie has made it into my top favorites!! I loved the way they combined traditional Indian musicality & culture, & then put their spin on it with some modern flair to the choerography, music & dancing.. Coming from a girl of ethnic decent & being a dancer, this really pulled at my heart strings. It's really nice seeing a movie so beautifully put together the way Heartbeats is, where they were able to showcase in such a neat way the culture, musicality, & the new age of modern dancing. This movie is a great movie for anyone to see, whether it's a family movie night, or you just enjoy watching fun, upbeat dancing movies with great dancing, music & a bit of love story throughout. If you've seen any of the "Center Stage" or "Step Up" movies, you'll enjoy this one too!! :)

The music is what really kills it for this film. Very lack luster and just no energy. Watching this makes you feel like, okay are they going to liven it up yet? I found it to be very dull and boring. You have some hope for the dancers, but the story line and the basic story as a whole, bombed.
